We are building the first vertically integrated full-service platform for legal. We allow the end-to-end completion of legal requests with the help of AI agents and experts in the loop.
Lawyers are trapped in the time-for-money model. Their expertise is sold by the hour. Lawyers are selling their most valuable asset their intellect in finite blocks of time effectively capping their potential. nu:legal breaks this ceiling by allowing professionals to transform their knowledge into scalable agentic services.
Customers are stuck battling over-regulation getting slow expensive and opaque legal services. We dont just offer legal knowledge we deliver complete resolutions. nu:legal democratizes access to top-tier expertise and services turning fragmented legal tasks into streamlined end-to-end outcomes.

Tasks
The Engineering Challenge
Youll build the Platform for Legal Task Completion:
Agentic Architecture Design infrastructure that lets legal experts define multi-step workflows that agents execute autonomously (with traceability).
Verified Intelligence Constrain reasoning with expert-defined guardrails validations and escalation paths so outputs are reliable and defensible.
Scale & Reliability Architect a platform that can run hundreds of thousands of legal tasks host and scale creator-built services securely observably and cost-efficiently.
Requirements
Your Profile
You are likely a fit if you have:
- 8 years software engineering experience
- Built and shipped real products (not just prototypes)
- Experience leading and hiring a technical team
- Strong technical judgment: pragmatic structured opinionated on quality
- Entrepreneurial mindset: you move without being asked communicate early and own outcomes
If you are Located in Berlin/Potsdam or willing to relocate (hybrid but we value building together)
Bonus Points
- Agentic / LLM application experience (or strong curiosity ability to learn fast)
- Marketplace / workflow systems / B2B SaaS experience
- Security & compliance mindset in sensitive domains
