Oliver Inc. is looking for an experienced Pressman Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have offset press experience and operate the assigned press ensuring that the quality of printed work is compliant with the clients requirements. The person will direct the operations of the press collaborating with all Departments involved in the manufacturing flow ensuring the safety of each activity.

Shift: 2nd Shift

Mon-Th 2:30PM to 12AM

About the Role:

In this opportunity as a Pressman Operator you will:

• Operate press in compliance with good manufacturing practices and based on instructions and standards on the job ticket.
• Adhere to press schedule provided by planning. Make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet production and standards.
• Perform make-ready and adjustments to the press to ensure proper print quality and color match for production.
• Monitor production by inspecting and adjusting as needed to print quality and color to ensure match.
• Maximize the utilization of equipment by operation of the machinery at available capacity and speed.
• Perform the machine preventive maintenance.
• Understands the importance of pressroom KPIs.
• Keep the area clean and all material properly identified.
• Report any quality problems to the supervisor and sort as necessary to keep the machine running.
• Comply with all company policies including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.

About You:

Youre a fit for the role of Pressman Operator if your background includes:

• 5 or more years of experience operating offset printing presses.
• The ability to print on multiple substrates and calipers.
• Work with color books sampling process; know how to read quality and engineering drawings.
• Understand units of measurement and use of quality and calibration tools.
