Job Description
Job Summary
The Loss Control Specialist/Consultant supports risk mitigation and safety initiatives by partnering with clients across multiple industries. This role focuses on evaluating safety programs analyzing claims and policy data and providing actionable recommendations to reduce risk exposure and improve overall loss performance. The position works closely with senior loss control team members and interacts directly with clients in on-site environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site client visits alongside senior loss control team members
- Review client safety plans loss history claims data and insurance policies
- Identify operational risks and provide practical recommendations to reduce exposures
- Assist clients with strengthening safety programs and loss prevention initiatives
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally to clients and internal stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to risk management and safety practices
Qualifications / Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a safety or loss control role
- Exposure to or experience supporting clients in manufacturing hospitality property or logistics environments
- Property & Casualty license preferred or ability to obtain licensure within the first 3 months
- Safety-related training or certifications preferred (OSHA Six Sigma HACCP or similar)
- Growth-oriented mindset with the ability to learn quickly
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-facing presence
- Ability to analyze information and translate findings into clear recommendations
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $80K$100K (depending on experience)
