$14.31 - $14.88 Hourly

About this Position
Performs semi-skilled duties required to maintain University grounds. Includes: mowing weed eating watering planting picking up trash general clean-up of facilities and other assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
6 months responsible work experience.
- Certifications Registrations and/or Licenses:
Valid drivers license.
- Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
- Ability to read and interpret routine written or printed materials such as labels on chemicals (mix chemicals) basic charts diagrams or instruction material for equipment.
- Ability to effectively use maintenance garden and hand tools sprayers etc
- Ability to follow and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate diplomatically clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to exchange information give/receive instructions and respond to inquiries appropriately with all students faculty staff and community partners.
- High degree of initiative to work independently and also collaborate in a team environment.
- Passion for assisting customers and representing the OSU-OKC and OSU brand with positivity and professionalism.
- Demonstrated history of ethical and professional behavior.
Preferred Qualifications
One year responsible work experience.
