Job Summary

Job Title: Operational Excellence Manager Responsible to: Head of Compliance About the Role: The Operational Excellence Specialist will be focused on driving an integrated approach to continuous improvement across the Elgin Mill establishing a robust operating system to improve the mills overall performance and building internal capabilities for teams to unlock new levels of is a permanent opportunity working 38 hours per week Monday to Friday. Salary is starting from 40000 dependent on experience. Key Responsibilities: DeliveryLead & facilitate continuous improvement activities that deliver breakthrough performance improvementsEmbed an operating system that allows clear communication and performance improvementsEnsure everyone understands what operational excellence means is engaged into the operating system and is playing their part in delivering a world class production operationEnsure that any improvements implemented are standardised and sustained within their teamsAbout You:Knowledge of operational excellence tools and techniques such as A3 Problem Solving 5S Set-Up Time Reduction Lean Six Sigma and Reliability-Centred MaintenanceKnowledge of planning processes and optimising demand cyclesExperience in coaching and influencing a wide range of partners for successKnowledge and understanding of CI Methodologies (e.c DMAIC RCPS SPC)Intermediate project management skillsAbility to interpret and analyse extensive data sources to identify waste and cost saving opportunitiesAbility to lead inspire and influence people at all levelsConscientious accurate and meticulous approach to work with a positive attitude flexible and reliableGood communicator and teammate with strong problem solving skillsFocus on delivering business objectivesDont meet every requirement Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single requirement or qualification.
