The team:

You will be part of the S&P Global Energy Customer Success team. Our team provides customer support and trainings in the Latin America region for asset valuation tools and cost estimation software for oil and gas assets. We use our expertise to demonstrate the value of our products and market intelligence using integrated workflows.

Responsibilities and Impact:

The support advisor plays a key-role in helping to secure renewals close new business and deepen our relationships with clients. By developing an understanding of the users and their needs across multiple disciplines the support advisor acts as a customer advocate and work with product management and commercial teams to address customer needs. The role requires regular client-facing meetings and on-site trainings.

What Were Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or geosciences with 3-5 years experience in the E&P industry. Education on cost estimation or engineering experience is a plus.
  • Formal education and/or combination of experience as an engineer or engineering / geo technician
  • Previous experience working with data and applications in the exploration and production industry . Previous experience working with S&P Global Upstream or Engineering products is a bonus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage and network with business contacts.
  • Empathy with user issues related to exploration strategy & geoscience workflows and an ability to articulate user problem to S&P colleagues to find solutions/responses.
  • Familiarity with the LATAM region.
  • Ability to work as an integral part of a diverse and geographically dispersed team.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits and attend conferences.
  • Excellent organizational time and project management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a professional and timely manner.
  • Highly articulate with a very good command of English and Portuguese is essential. Fluency in Spanish is an advantage.
