Performs a wide variety of financial analyses to provide company management with interpretive and predictive financial information that is used to make business performance assessments and capital investment/divestment decisions. Develops cross-functional partnerships to identify strategic and commercial opportunities and to resolve performance issues.
Supports medium sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision. General knowledge of the work function and Chevrons practices.
Financial Statements:
- Compile and analyze data for balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Review and adjust reports.
Tax Accounting:
- Calculate and record tax liabilities.
- Prepare and file tax returns.
- Stay updated on tax laws.
Provisions:
- Record provisions for liabilities.
- Reflect provisions in statements.
- Review and adjust regularly.
Financial Analysis:
- Perform analyses for management.
- Inform business decisions.
- Develop cross-functional partnerships.
Client Support:
- Support larger clients and lead projects.
- Develop detailed work function knowledge.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- University degree in Finance or Accounting with 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in Financial Statements.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
- A proactive growthoriented mindset with the willingness to explore and adopt new technologies that drive innovation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with visualization tools such as Power BI and automation platforms like Power Apps is preferred.
- Previous experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or JDE.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills with the ability to perform effectively in dynamic environments.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Teamoriented approach combined with proactive leadership capabilities.
