Performs a wide variety of financial analyses to provide company management with interpretive and predictive financial information that is used to make business performance assessments and capital investment/divestment decisions. Develops cross-functional partnerships to identify strategic and commercial opportunities and to resolve performance issues.

Supports medium sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision. General knowledge of the work function and Chevrons practices.

Financial Statements:

  • Compile and analyze data for balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Review and adjust reports.

Tax Accounting:

  • Calculate and record tax liabilities.
  • Prepare and file tax returns.
  • Stay updated on tax laws.

Provisions:

  • Record provisions for liabilities.
  • Reflect provisions in statements.
  • Review and adjust regularly.

Financial Analysis:

  • Perform analyses for management.
  • Inform business decisions.
  • Develop cross-functional partnerships.

Client Support:

  • Support larger clients and lead projects.
  • Develop detailed work function knowledge.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • University degree in Finance or Accounting with 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in Financial Statements.
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
  • A proactive growthoriented mindset with the willingness to explore and adopt new technologies that drive innovation.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with visualization tools such as Power BI and automation platforms like Power Apps is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or JDE.
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills with the ability to perform effectively in dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Teamoriented approach combined with proactive leadership capabilities.
