JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Beverage Server/Cocktails is to ensure complete customer satisfaction by serving and providing beverages to our guests to ensure an enjoyable stay.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
Greetsandwelcomesall guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
Providestimelycocktail service in a friendly and courteous manner.
Keeps assigned areas clean and empty of glasses and bottles.
Constantlylooksfor service opportunities.
Responds to andresolvesguest complaints.
Answers guest questions and is knowledgeable about property events and attractions.
Performs all side work at assigned station suchasstocking coffee glasses sugarcreamand coffee dispenser.
Provides fast (20 minute or less round time) friendly professional beverage service to casino guests; carries full trays on every round
Takes drink orders communicates with bartenderassistsin the preparation ofdrinksand presents drinks to guests
Maintains clean and stocked workstation
Handles money according to procedure
Monitors guest consumption of alcohol andintervenesas needed according to guidelines
Serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions; appears in publicity photos
Promotes casino events and programs
Works closely withTotalRewards Center to promote new card sign up programs.
Works well with others especially beverage servers bartenders barbacks beverage supervisor and slots supervisor
Provides personalized service and uses guest name
Resolves service problems according to guidelines
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatorydepartmentaland company policies.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older.
One-yearprevioushigh volume cocktail experience.
Minimumof one-year customer service experience ina previousposition where the primary job duty is direct customer service isrequired.
Mustpossessexcellent customer service and communication skills.
Must be able toinitiateand engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
Must present a professional and pleasant appearance that guests will find appealing and approachablein order toengage in conversation.
Must be able to work any day of the week andscheduledshift.
Must be able toget alongwith co-workers and work as a team.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Work requires knowledge of tray service and cocktail ingredients.
Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights weekends holidays and overtime as needed.
