Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department

Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient- and family-centered care in the Emergency Department practicing within their full professional scope. The RN is responsible for assessing planning implementing and evaluating individualized plans of care that address patients physical psychological emotional educational and spiritual needs. This role requires close collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality timely emergency care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
Implement and evaluate patient care plans and adjust as needed.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately and timely.
Collaborate with physicians advanced practice providers and interdisciplinary team members.
Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
Maintain compliance with facility policies safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Charge Nurse Responsibilities (as assigned):
Coordinate patient flow and staff assignments within the Emergency Department.
Receive pre-arrival reports from EMS and community partners.
Collaborate with triage staff house supervisors providers ward clerks ED techs RNs and crisis evaluators.
Support patient throughput admissions and bed assignments.
Demonstrate leadership conflict resolution and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
Active current RN license.
Required certifications per facility RN compliance (BLS/ACLS as applicable).
Strong communication time management and teamwork skills.
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
