Overview
Position Summary/Key Objectives
- Support Security applications configurations and operations (Firewalls Proxy services Data Security Intrusion detection systems syslogs NAC SIEM solutions Web application firewalls SOC Vulnerability program management Ethical hacking services and compliance requirements)
- Execute projects to improve the reliability and maturity levels of internal and external security architecture and applications
- Assist with security tickets external teams requests to completion and deliver required security solutions
- Responsible for security events as they occur including incident response post-analysis and remediation efforts
- Support multiple devices and security applications in a 24x7 environment
- Off-hours support as part of team support rotation
Qualifications
Skills/Experience required/preferred:
- Basic knowledge of security and network architecture administration and management
- Basic knowledge of server management and operating systems
- Knowledge of security tools and frameworks
- Hands-on experience related to system/application monitoring and troubleshooting
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Associates degree in Computer Science Information Security or relevant areas preferred
