Job Summary
Fitness Instructor - Group Exercise Classes in a Senior Living Community!
BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Fitness Instructor / Specialist to lead scheduled group exercise classes designed to develop and maintain positive fitness levels for residents in senior living communities.As a member of our Senior Living Team you will be an integral component of our continuum of care.
As the Fitness Instructor you will teach 2-3 classes per week atBrightview Wakefield in Wakefield MA.
- Friday Class - 9:30am
- Friday Class - 10:30am
- Pending 3rd Class

Fitness Specialist Benefits Responsibilities:
- Lead scheduled group exercise classes for the residents of Senior Living Communities with specific focus on flexibility cardio strength/power balancing and standing exercises.
- Develop fitness classes which are designed to develop and promote positive fitness levels for a senior population.
Qualifications for a Fitness Specialist:
- Experience leading group fitness classes with the senior population
- Certification as a Fitness Instructor or equivalent through an accredited national exercise/fitness organization such as ACSM NSCA ACE IDEA or SFA.
OR
- Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Fitness Specialist Benefits:
