Job Summary

The Role

Were building out our first fleet of retrofitted autonomous construction machines and were looking for a Software Engineer to work on the Hardware Abstraction Layer for sensors. Your day to day work will be developing and optimizing our sensor pipelines (Lidar cameras IMUs GPS etc.)

Background

  • 5 years of experience in sensor bring up calibration and sensor validation
  • Strong programming skills (C and python)
  • Strong data analysis skills (Data munching statistical analysis)

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd

  • Deep understanding of GMSL MIPI GStreamer Lidar
  • Video compression (H264 H265)
  • Experience with the Rust programming language
  • Experience with Sensor calibration and processes
  • Experience with sensor validation algorithms

Other Special Aspects of the Role

  • Based in the Bay Area with the ability to be onsite at our testing facility and SF office on a daily/weekly basis
