As a Senior Buyer you will play a critical role in enabling reliable product availability while balancing cost risk and supplier performance. This role offers broad visibility strong supplier ownership and meaningful crossfunctional influence in a regulated fastmoving environment.
What You Will Do
- Manage strategic and tactical purchasing activities for an assigned portfolio to maintain uninterrupted supply of finished goods and materials
- Communicate weekly and daily demand requirements to suppliers and adjust volumes based on updated supply plans
- Place purchase orders in compliance with agreed rules and ensure alignment with supplier agreements
- Execute and communicate safety stock levels for raw materials and finished goods to support service and continuity targets
- Act as primary operational contact for suppliers resolving availability issues and escalating longterm supply constraints when required
- Track analyze and report supplier performance using standard metrics including ontime and infull delivery lead time compliance price variance and pastdue orders
- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier master data including lead times minimum order quantities and replenishment parameters
- Lead supplier-facing and internal continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk optimize cost and improve execution
What You Will Need
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing procurement manufacturing or supply chain operations
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and French
Preferred:
- Experience in supplier relationship management
- Experience working with enterprise resource planning systems
- Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices pharmaceuticals or aerospace
- Experience applying continuous improvement or cost reduction methodologies
