Job Summary
Job Description
- Technical Tasks:Perform computer order entry medication packaging labeling and compounding.
- Operational Support:Manage inventory maintain accurate records and assist with staff training.
- Financial Duties:Resolve billing and insurance issues handle cashiering and manage basic accounting tasks.
- Compliance:Ensure all medications are verified by a pharmacist for accuracy per State Board and Federal regulations before dispensing.
- Has a passion for healthcare and high-quality patient interaction.
- Communicates effectively across various platforms.
- Is physically capable of standing for the majority of a shift.
- Certification:Must hold a currentCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)credential from thePharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)prior to the hire date.
- Schedule:This is aPRN (as needed)position.
