Job Description/Responsibilities
The Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting materials to and from designated locations while complying with all commercial driving regulations and company safety standards. This role ensures on-time delivery accurate documentation and safe operation of trucks and trailers to support production customer service and overall supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
Safely operate company trucks and trailers in compliance with DOT and company regulations
Maintain a strong safety-first mindset to support zero recordable incidents
Report all safety concerns near misses and accidents immediately
Participate in safety inspections and investigations as needed
Transportation & Logistics
Transport raw materials and finished goods to and from specified destinations
Plan routes using knowledge of local and regional roadways
Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely
Deliver materials on time to meet production and customer demand
Documentation & Equipment Care
Accurately maintain driver logs inspection reports and required documentation
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain cleanliness and general condition of truck and trailer
Customer Service & Teamwork
Provide professional courteous service at all delivery and pickup locations
Communicate effectively with dispatch supervisors and plant teams
Support world-class customer service and operational excellence
Continuous Improvement
Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency safety and service
Participate in skill development and performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Must be at least 18 years old
Clean driving record
Previous experience in a manufacturing warehouse or industrial environment
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced operation
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
Physically capable of standing sitting climbing bending kneeling and squatting
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance
Preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization
Solid interpersonal skills and customer-focused mindset
Demonstrated interest in continuous skill development and career growth
Physical Requirements
Operate industrial and transportation equipment safely
Lift push or pull up to 50 pounds
