Job Description/Responsibilities

The Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting materials to and from designated locations while complying with all commercial driving regulations and company safety standards. This role ensures on-time delivery accurate documentation and safe operation of trucks and trailers to support production customer service and overall supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications/Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

  • Safely operate company trucks and trailers in compliance with DOT and company regulations

  • Maintain a strong safety-first mindset to support zero recordable incidents

  • Report all safety concerns near misses and accidents immediately

  • Participate in safety inspections and investigations as needed

Transportation & Logistics

  • Transport raw materials and finished goods to and from specified destinations

  • Plan routes using knowledge of local and regional roadways

  • Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely

  • Deliver materials on time to meet production and customer demand

Documentation & Equipment Care

  • Accurately maintain driver logs inspection reports and required documentation

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

  • Maintain cleanliness and general condition of truck and trailer

Customer Service & Teamwork

  • Provide professional courteous service at all delivery and pickup locations

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch supervisors and plant teams

  • Support world-class customer service and operational excellence

Continuous Improvement

  • Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency safety and service

  • Participate in skill development and performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Clean driving record

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing warehouse or industrial environment

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced operation

  • Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

  • Physically capable of standing sitting climbing bending kneeling and squatting

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance

Preferred

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization

  • Solid interpersonal skills and customer-focused mindset

  • Demonstrated interest in continuous skill development and career growth

Physical Requirements

  • Operate industrial and transportation equipment safely

  • Lift push or pull up to 50 pounds
