Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Correctional Facility 13-Week Travel Assignment
Saguaro Correctional Center 1250 East Arica Road Eloy AZ 85131
Aequor Healthcare is seeking a skilled LPN to provide high-quality nursing care in a secure correctional environment. This is a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours and weekly pay.
Schedule & Pay
Shift: 12-hour Day Shift
Hours: 36-hour guarantee (open availability required per CoreCivic Scheduling Policy)
Contract Length: 13 weeks initial duration potential to extend
Pay: $1386 gross weekly pay(including non-taxed stipends)
Responsibilities
Execute physician orders operate pill call and sick call
Assist providers during exams and treatments
Perform technical/clinical nursing procedures within scope of license
Document patient care and maintain medical records
Ensure safety security and compliance with facility policies
Observe and report inmate/resident behavior
Maintain and secure medical equipment supplies and medication
Respond to emergencies and coordinate inmate/resident movements as needed
Requirements
Graduate from an approved school of nursing with LPN certificate
Active LPN license in the state of employment
Valid drivers license
Minimum 1 year of professional nursing experience preferred
Ability to work rotating shifts in a secure correctional environment
Must reside at least 70 miles away from facility
