Shift:6:45am 4:00pm Monday Thursday 6:45am-12pm Fridays

Pay:$25-$40/hr Depending on Experience

About this Opportunity:
Atlas Staffing has partnered with a growing manufacturer of machined and assembled components using the CNC machine technologies including Swiss CNC Mori Seiki Lathes and Mills.

CNC Programming set-up and operator utilizes CNC Swiss. CAM experience is a plus. Operate and maintain CNC equipment. As a CNC Swiss Operator and Programmer you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints and performing quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to troubleshoot any machine issues that arise during the manufacturing process.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Set-up operator utilizes CNC Swiss Citizen and Tsugami to perform a series of progressive machining operations requiring a high degree of skill.

• Demonstrated proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Perform daily maintenance of machines as required.

• Understanding of work holding

• Operators may run more than one unit simultaneously.

• Requires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC operational procedures.

• Maintain a clean safe work area.

Qualifications and skills:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Swiss Set Up Operator programming a plus

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Ability to perform metric conversions

• Must be able to read and understand blueprints specifications and routings

• Strong mechanical aptitude problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Physical Demands:

• Continuous mental and visual attention is needed.

• Sit Stand talk and hear for the full shift

• Lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment
