SUMMARY:

The ACHOperations &Program Manageris responsible forensuring compliance with NACHA Operating Guideline across various departments within the bankas well asoverseeing the operational functions of ACH new processdesignand ACH product development. The role involves updating ACH policies and procedures conducting risk assessments risk mitigationand providing guidance and training on ACH operations. The manager will oversee system enhancements and rule changes ensuring all ACH functions adhere toestablishedguidelines and policies.This role requires strong cross-functional leadership to collaborate with other departments manage programdeliveryand serve as a subject matter expert for ACH-related initiatives and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop leadand manage delivery ofenterprise-wideACH related programs aligning with strategic business goals
  • Act as subject matter expert by providing training coaching and guidance on ACH operations rules and risk mitigation
  • Oversee daily ACH operational functionsincluding establishing andmaintainingoptimalefficiency through process design evaluation of systemsand use of automation
  • Support the companys vendor management program by serving as a primary relationshipmanager for ACH-related vendors
  • Serve as lead fornewACH project initiatives
  • Maintaincompanys ACHpolicesand procedures ensuring compliance with NACHA Operating Guidelines
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessmentsmonitorACHactivity and implement strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks
  • Oversee system enhancements and rule changesas well ascollaborationwith other departments
  • Prepare ACH reports for management and committeesand collaborate with internal and external auditors
  • Understand role as defined by the three lines of defense tomaintaina compliance culture that includes risk management processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of NACHA and Reg-E rules
  • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification
  • Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP)certification preferred but may be obtained after hiring
  • Extensive experience in ACH products including third-party sendingand governancedesign andsetupofACHprocessing systems &platforms origination processes and risk management practices
  • Experience leading team of ACH professionals
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience inreviewing and analyzing financial information
  • Excellent communication collaboration and leadership skills to guide company and influence stakeholders
