Unit description: We are seeking a compassionate skilled and patient-centered Registered Nurse (RN) to join our OB/GYN team. This role supports a dynamic and collaborative practice dedicated to providing exceptional care across the full spectrum of womens health including gynecological services prenatal care and ambulatory obstetrics. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical skills a passion for womens health and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an OB/GYN outpatient setting.
Support providers during examinations procedures and in-office treatments.
Perform patient triage obtain medical histories administer medications and conduct patient education.
Assist with prenatal monitoring and postpartum support.
Manage order sets care coordination and follow-up communication with patients.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Collaborate with providers medical assistants administrative staff and care coordinators to ensure high-quality patient care.
Adhere to safety protocols infection control standards and organizational policies.
Job Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Vermont (or eligibility for licensure).
Previous experience in womens health OB/GYN labor & delivery or related specialty preferred but not required.
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
Ability to multitask prioritize and remain flexible in a busy clinical setting.
Commitment to patient-centered care and a supportive team culture.
This is a bargaining union position.
