Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role requires extensive hands-on experience operating and setting up 3-Axis CNC milling machines ideally Haas and Fadal controls. The Senior CNC Machinist will play a key role in producing precision components supporting process improvements mentoring junior machinists and ensuring quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

Hours: 1st shift

Responsibilities:

Set up operate and troubleshoot 3-Axis CNC milling machines preferably Haas and Fadal
Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and GD&T
Perform machine setups including tooling fixtures and offsets
Edit and optimize CNC programs at the machine (G-code)
Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish
Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers height gauges indicators etc.)
Identify and resolve machining issues related to tooling materials or programs
Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce scrap
Maintain machines through routine preventive maintenance and cleanliness
Train and mentor junior machinists and operators as needed
Adhere to all safety quality and company standards
Collaborate with engineering quality and production teams to meet manufacturing goals

$30 - $40 an hour
