Job Skills / Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of the university property staff students and visitors
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to incidents as required
- Conduct regular patrols and remain alert to suspicious activity
- Handle vagrants intoxicated individuals and unauthorized persons professionally
- De-escalate conflicts using strong verbal communication skills
- Complete detailed incident and occurrence reports
- Provide excellent customer service and assist site occupants as needed
- Follow all site-specific procedures post orders and company policies
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a security team
Qualifications & Skills
- 23 years of security experience required
- Police Foundations diploma required
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of CCTV monitoring experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- High level of professionalism ethics and discipline
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand walk and patrol for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a busy and dynamic environment
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Wage: $19.00 per hour
