Hope House a Preble Street low-barrier shelter located in Bangor Maine provides shelter and intensive services to individuals experiencing homelessness in a 24-hour trauma-informed environment grounded in social work best practices.
Hope House Per Diem Staff participate in and perform direct service shift activities and duties with guidance and task direction provided by full-time and part-time staff and management. Per Diem staff support programs by providing shift coverage outreaching and engaging with clients to provide and facilitate access to services maintaining safety within the program spaces monitoring security of the building and providing crisis intervention and support.
Population Served: Individuals experiencing homelessness.
Preferred: Bachelors degree in social work or related field of study or comparable combination of education and relevant experience.

This position has an hourly rate of $20.38/hour and work a maximum of 28 hours per week.
