Job Summary
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) you will assist nursing staff in delivering direct patient care and support services helping ensure comfort safety and quality care for patients. PCTs play an essential role in maintaining patient wellbeing and facilitating smooth clinical operations.
Responsibilities
Provide basic patient care (bathing grooming feeding mobility support etc.).
Take and record vital signs (temperature pulse blood pressure).
Assist with patient transport and repositioning.
Maintain patient comfort and safety.
Support nurses with clinical and non-clinical tasks.
Communicate patient concerns to nursing staff.
(Tailor as needed.)
Qualifications
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED (REQUIRED)
- *REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- BLS PCT CERT VIA NHA & ONE
- DE-ESCALATION TRAINING CERTIFICATIONS: CPI MOAB HANDLE WITH CARE TRUST TRAINING OR PREVENTING AND MANAGING CRISIS SITUATIONS
- MUST HAVE HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE
