Job Summary

Distribution Associates / Forklift

We are hiring two Distribution Associates for first shift. The best fit is someone that has general warehouse shipping / receiving experience with Forklift Operation. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration markets.

Requires at least 2 years of standup forklift OR 3 years sit-down forklift experience.
FOOTWEAR REQUIRED- Employees are required to wear safety footwear meeting the minimum ASTM Standard FStandard Performance Requirements for Protective (Safety) Toe Cap Footwear and include puncture resistant soles during hours of employment.

PAY RATE: 19.50 hour
LOCATION: Salt Lake City UT 84119
SHIFT: 7:30am to 4:30pm - Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays based on business needs)
Facility Relocation: We will be moving to a larger facility near the airport in May 2026

DUTIES:

Under general supervision performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products.
Receives goods verifies items against the record of shipment and inspects condition.
Gathers verifies and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
Routes materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
Completes written and computerized documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a high school diploma or GED.
Drug Test
Background Check
Requires at least 2 years of standup forklift OR 3 years sit-down forklift experience.

ABILITIES:

Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
Requires basic reading writing and numerical ability.
Valid drivers license with good driving record may be required.
Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
Effective verbal communication skills.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
