You will provide expert practical guidance to leaders and colleagues based in UK Australia and Ireland on HR policies and procedures with a particular focus on absence management (including sickness maternity and paternity). You will act as a key point of contact for complex HR cases escalations and complaints while supporting policy system and process changes.
Provide tailored absence management advice and support to Leaders in line with company policy and UK legislation.
Manage end-to-end absence-related processes including the Group Income Protection Insurance lifecycle.
Act as a point of escalation for complex HR cases relating to absence policies benefits payroll and operational processes.
Successfully contribute to achieving and maintaining monthly Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation of system changes arising from M&A activity legislative changes and policy updates.
Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement when handling sensitive employee information.
Liaise with multiple stakeholders including HR Business Partners leaders offshore GBS teams and third-party insurers providing clear and timely updates.
Monitor payroll inputs and outputs reviewing and resolving payroll queries accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate effectively with offshore GBS teams to ensure consistent high-quality service delivery.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement standardisation and automation.
Proactive self-starter with a proven ability to deliver results in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and propose practical solutions to complex issues.
Confident user of HR systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced challenging environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to follow and apply detailed processes independently and consistently.
Demonstrable discretion and tact when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation particularly relating to absence.
Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate successful experience supporting system changes process improvements or HR transformation initiatives.
