Nursing education is a practice specialty that seeks to improve the health of the community by enhancing the professional practice and competence of registered nurses and other nursing personnel.
The surgical/procedural nurse educator is a valued member of the Nursing Practice and Development team. Partnering with educator peers and operational leaders this role supports the educational needs of nursing across Corewell Health West through standardization innovation and the application of evidencebased practice.
The primary work location is Grand Rapids with occasional travel to community hospitals.
The ideal candidate for this position has a background in intraoperative nursing and demonstrates the flexibility to support and provide education across additional procedural areas as needed.
