This position is Tuesday - Saturday 1st Shift at our Eastlake facility located at 34300 Melinz Parkway.
Objective: X-ray castings Inspect rough castings train and maintain supplies
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take radiographic images of castings.
- Develop film in the processor.
- Perform specific tests and calibrations and document the results in accordance to specific procedures.
- Develop and maintain rough casting x-ray techniques.
- Interpret rough casting x-ray film to customer requirements.
- Inventory and store x-ray film and chemicals to QEI 17.1 requirements.
- Mix Chemicals in accordance to instructions.
- Make maintain and replace fixtures and film cassettes.
- Provide Level I training.
- Pass level I exam.
- Keep area clean.
- Perform other duties specified by the supervisor.
- Adheres to plant and department safety rules.
- Safely operates all equipment and tools.
- Identifies and reports safety problems.
- Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- X-ray level I certification in accordance to NDTQ and NAS-410.
- Ability to follow instructions read writes and able to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to read interpret and follow customer requirements and specifications.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or maneuver objects weighing thirty to fifty pounds
- Experience in x-ray interpretation is a plus.
- Must pass annual eye exam.
- High School graduate or GED required.
- Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity (when required).
- Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required).
