Job Summary

Work - Reporting to the Mechanical Coordinator this role will see you assisting in routine mechanical activities in accordance with the approved program as well as emergency maintenance when required. You will assist with the undertaking of basic condition monitoring of mechanical equipment and develop knowledge of established work practices and procedures and regulations relevant to the work area and knowledge of the Burnett and Lower Mary Service Delivery functions and its operation. You will also complete all apprenticeship units of competency specified in the training plan and submits all course assignments on time.

You will have strong numeracy and verbal communication skills the ability to cooperate and provide assistance and the ability to work in team environment.

In addition you will have:

  • Year 12 High School Certificate (preferred) with strong results in Maths
  • Industrial Technology knowledge showing demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Demonstrated ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Class C licence for manual and automatic vehicles
