Job Summary
Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) provides service to approximately 6100 students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 in 34 schools and is one of the largest employers in the Grande Prairie/Spirit River region.
ROBERT W. ZAHARA SCHOOL is seeking a PROBATIONARY FULL TIME SCHOOL PRINCIPAL for the 2026-2027 School Year.
ROBERT W. ZAHARA SCHOOL is located within the community of Sexsmith Alberta approximately 26kms north of the City of Grande Prairie. The school has a student population of approximately 378 students in Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6.
We are seeking an educational leader who is committed to student learning equity and wellness and who possesses the skills and work ethic to engage students staff parents and the community in the development of a research-driven student centered learning environment. We are seeking a leader who is truly committed to on-going professional learning and is adept at supporting all staff in their own professional growth.
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Current Alberta Teachers Certificate
- You aspire for excellence in all competencies of the Teaching Quality Standard and Leadership Quality Standard
