Job Summary
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- Intention to shortly start the qualifying process or early stages of exams for internationally recognised accounting designation (ie ACCA or equivalent)
- Advance working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with highly developed Excel skills is essential
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
- Strong work ethic commitment to meet deadlines
- Strong communication abilities
Is an advantage:
- Experience in general accounting and in particular accounting for investments
- A working knowledge of SAP
- A working knowledge PAM for Investments

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with investment accounting operation activities including daily cash-matching and running reports
- Post Investment Accounting journals for the group in the general ledger system and reconcile balances
- Perform monthly investment accounting close cycle activities
- Assist with the preparation of various investment related period end reporting activities for Allied World Group and across various local regions
- Maintain and implement good internal control procedures and ensure a high standard of compliance
- Assist in the preparation of ad hoc reports and projects as required.
