Location: Chicago IL (Hybrid: MonThurs in office Fridays remote)

About the Role

We are a high-growth rollup in the pet industry rapidly expanding our footprint through acquisitions and rebranding of existing locations. Were seeking a Capital Projects Manager to own and execute CapEx projects across our growing portfolio. This is a highly autonomous execution-focused role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced process-light environment and enjoys building structure as they go. Youll manage approximately 10 CapEx projects per quarter supporting both newly acquired and existing locations. Projects are focused on rebranding and light remodelssuch as signage paint and minor layout changesrather than large-scale construction.

This role is ideal for a strong project manager who can juggle multiple initiatives manage vendors and contracts and build scalable processes as the company grows.

What Youll Do

Lead and execute capital rebrand projects across a multi-site portfolio
Manage timelines budgets vendors and contracts from kickoff through completion
Oversee rebranding initiatives for newly acquired and existing locations
Track project spend and progress using Excel-based tools and dashboards
Partner with Operations and Marketing (capex strategy is set you execute)
Build and refine facilities and project management processes as the function scales
Operate independently while keeping stakeholders informed and aligned

What Were Looking For

Bachelors degree (field flexible)
Proven experience managing multi-site projects in a fast-moving environment
Strong project management and organizational skills
High proficiency in Excel
Experience negotiating contracts and managing external vendors
Comfortable working with minimal structure and building processes from scratch
Professional organized and proactive with a strong sense of ownership
Pet industry experience is a plus but not required
