Job Title: Fire & Security Engineer
Description
Due to continued growth we are hiring for our client as they look to appoint an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their established engineering team based in Newry. This Fire & Security Engineer role will involve the installation servicing maintenance and fault-finding of fire and security systems across sites typically within a 20-mile radius of Newry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Fire & Security Engineer who enjoys a varied role working with high-quality systems in a supportive and flexible working environment. The Fire & Security Engineer will benefit from a stable workload local travel and a package that reflects experience and capability.
Our client is also open to considering 2nd or 3rd year apprentices who are keen to continue developing their skills within a supportive and experienced team. The salary for this Fire & Security Engineer position will be reflective of experience and level.

The Role
Installation servicing and maintenance of fire alarm and security systems
Fault finding and remedial works on existing systems
Working across intruder alarms fire detection CCTV and access control
Completing service documentation and reports accurately
Providing a professional customer-focused service on every site
The Person
Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer or similar role
Strong technical knowledge of fire and/or security systems
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Good communication skills and a professional approach with clients
Full UK driving licence
