Role Summary
The BIM Specialist will lead model coordination automation and data-driven reporting across infrastructure and building projects. The role combines advanced BIM production clash coordination Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) administration and building complex Power BI dashboards for project and QA/QC insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up manage and maintain BIM models in Revit Civil 3D and AutoCAD for multidisciplinary projects.
- Develop and maintain the Project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) including model setup coordination workflows and CDE/ACC structure.
- Perform model audits clash detection and issue tracking using Navisworks and coordination platforms (e.g. Revizto ACC Model Coordination).
- Coordinate models across architecture structure MEP/building services and infrastructure utilities ensuring issues are clearly communicated and driven to resolution.
- Use Dynamo to automate repetitive tasks perform structured QA/QC checks and optimize model health and performance.
- Design build and maintain complex interactive Power BI dashboards and reports (including data modelling and DAX) to track BIM data model health progress and QA/QC metrics.
- Support BIM leadership in implementing digital standards QA/QC processes and continuous improvement of BIM/digital delivery workflows.
- Train mentor and provide day-to-day technical support to BIM modelers and project teams on tools workflows and standards.
Qualifications :
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 8 years of BIM experience in the AEC industry including significant Middle East project experience.
- Strong production and coordination experience with Revit Civil 3D and AutoCAD on large multidisciplinary projects.
- Solid understanding of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360/ProjectWise including project setup permissions and design collaboration workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Navisworks/Revizto and at least one issue management/coordination platform (e.g. Revizto ACC Model Coordination).
- Proficiency in Dynamo for automation data handling and BIM model QA/QC.
- Mandatory: Strong proven experience building complex Power BI dashboards (data modelling relationships DAX measures scheduled refresh and role-based/discipline-based views).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and clearly present coordination and data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a structured approach to QA/QC and documentation.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with ISO 19650-based BIM workflows and common GCC client BIM requirements.
- Basic knowledge of Autodesk Infraworks Python or other scripting languages for advanced data and automation tasks.
- Experience contributing to BIM standards templates and content libraries at company or program level.
