What Youll Do as a Human Service Worker
- Safely operate a 15-passenger van for client transportation
- Provide compassionate support supervision and positive engagement to participants
- Facilitate structured activities life-skills groups and daily program routines
- Assist with crisis intervention and help maintain a safe therapeutic environment
- Accurately document interactions observations and client progress
- Collaborate with therapists supervisors and multidisciplinary team members
- Model healthy coping skills pro-social behavior and supportive communication
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Drivers License
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm patient and grounded during challenging situations
- Reliable team-oriented and eager to learn
- Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required
- Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
