The Department of Business Analytics and Information Systems at Iona Universitys LaPenta School of Business invites applications for avisitingassistant professor position beginning Fall 2026. Qualified candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Information Systems or a closely related field from an accredited institution and demonstrate a proven record of or potential for high-quality research and addition to teaching core undergraduate and MBA courses in Information Systems the successful candidate will teach selected upper-year field courses which are typically relevant to their research areas. The position requires the ability to teach both online and in-person classes ensuring flexibility to meet the needs of students.

Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in Information Systems or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Candidates who are ABD (All But Dissertation) and expect to complete their degree by August 2026 are also encouraged to apply.

A strong research agenda demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications conference presentations or ongoing scholarly activities.

Proven or demonstrated potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels with a commitment to engaging and effective instruction.
