Financial Analyst- Full Time
Makola Housing Society Victoria BC
Position Summary
Reporting to the Finance Manager the Financial Analyst participates in all aspects of the accounting cycle for Makola Housing Society (MHS). The Financial Analyst will work effectively with the Finance team to accomplish the MHS goals while working in a continuous improvement environment. The Financial Analyst is detail-oriented while keeping in mind the big-picture. Ideally the Financial Analyst has a keen interest in the Indigenous Affordable Housing sector and demonstrates cultural sensitivity at all times.
This position is full-time permanent Monday Friday based out of our Administration and Finance Office in Victoria BC. This positions salary is $75000 - $90000 per year.

Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in related field such as accounting or business administration a combination of related education and experience will be considered
- Possessing a CPA designation or working towards one would be preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a financial management position preferably in the non-profit or Affordable Housing sector
- Experience working with Indigenous communities considered an asset

- Prepared to work outside of regular business hours on occasion
