Position Description: Facilities & Woodworking Maintenance Technician

The Facilities & Woodworking Maintenance Technician at LayerZero Power Systems is responsible for maintaining and repairing woodworking equipment general facility infrastructure and supporting electrical and machining operations across multiple facilities. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe efficient and reliable operations while assisting with new facility additions and expansions.

Primary Duties:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on woodworking machinery tools and related equipment.

Maintain general facility infrastructure including carpentry fixtures and structural repairs.

Assist with electrical and machining maintenance tasks as needed.

Support new facility additions expansions and improvement projects ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and installations.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.

Ensure compliance with OSHA NFPA and company safety protocols.

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and provide hands-on support.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Electrical Technology preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in woodworking and facility maintenance.

Strong knowledge of woodworking tools machinery and safety practices.

Ability to assist with electrical and machining maintenance tasks.

Experience working across multiple facilities and supporting new additions is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
