- Greet and prepare patients for dermatology exams and treatments.
- Assist the dermatologist during procedures exams and treatments.
- Perform basic medical tasks including taking vitals preparing patient charts and administering injections.
- Recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit
- Manage patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans skin care and aftercare instructions.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
- Manage patient check-ins and follow-up calls.
- Sterilize instruments and manage inventory.
- Understand HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications :
- Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a dermatology or medical office is a plus.
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Compassionate and patient-focused with excellent organizational skills.
