Salary $30/hr

ThePhysical Therapy Assistantreports to the Physical Therapist. This person will promote and maintain health by providing physical therapy services within a team approach providing quality care in a secure setting. Under the supervision of the Physical Therapist this person will implement care plans for incarcerated individuals for rehabilitation. Additionally this person will help mentally and/or physically impaired individuals with tasks to restore reinforce and enhance their performance.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
Current/Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Illinois
At least one year of experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant preferred
Experience working in corrections/ behavioral health preferred
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check

Shift: Evening; FT 3p-7p Mon-Fri
