Provide quality care to patients under supervision of an Oral Surgeon/Resident promote efficient operation of the procedural based clinic and provide surgical assistance to practitioners and support staff.


Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 18 years of age required.
High school education or equivalent required.
Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant Program or minimum of one year experience chair side and the ability to obtain Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) within 14 months of transfer or hire date required.

Completion of radiography course/credits required.
Effective verbal and written skills required.
Ability to accomplish multiple tasks and prioritize activities required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) upon completion of unit orientation certification required must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1 2023 or later).

Preferred Qualifications:


Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant Program preferred.
Experience in dental related office preferred.
Dental assistant certification is preferred.
Prior experience with customer service skills preferred.
