Job Summary
Our client a leading Oil & Gas exploration and production company.
Position: Accountant
Employment Status: 1 Year contract
Office Location: Sathorn Bangkok.
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee our Accounts Payable and Tax this role you will ensure the accuracy of financial data manage cross-border intercompany charges and lead our tax compliance efforts with the Thailand Tax Authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain bank details of vendors
- Expenses and Account Payables
- Review invoices posted by AP Accountants
- Supervise AP Accountants regarding accounting and tax issues
- Intercompany Transactions
- Process intercompany charges from Jakarta and other affiliates
- Correspond with colleagues in other entities to perform the intercompany reconciliation Month End Closing Year End Closing and Audit
- Post accounting entries for month-end closing
- Reconcile bank statement
- Reconcile and perform account analysis after month-end closing
- Assist in providing information to both internal and external auditors
- Taxes
- Supervise AP Accountants regarding tax issues
- Prepare VAT return form and file to the Tax Authority
- Assist in preparation the letter and supporting documents to Thailand Tax Authority for VAT refund and VAT audit Assist in calculation of half year tax annual tax and SRB
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in accounting
Experience
- 3-5 years accounts payable or general accounting experiences
Skills
- Knowledge of accounts payable
- Knowledge of general accounting standards
- Knowledge of Thailand tax laws
- Good communication in English.
