About the Job:
We are looking for a Senior Director Engineering (Head of Engineering) to lead our clients engineering team in building scalable software products and this role you will oversee product engineering delivery provide technical direction and foster a high-performing engineering culture. You will work closely with Product Data Science and executive leadership to translate behavioral science expertise into reliable AI-enabled software solutions while ensuring client trust data sensitivity and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end engineering delivery for product and platform initiatives.
- Translate product strategy into actionable engineering plans and milestones.
- Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team defining roles expectations and career paths.
- Provide architectural guidance across applications data platforms and integrations.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Product to integrate AI and analytics into production-ready solutions.
- Ensure engineering practices support reliability scalability and innovation.
- Partner with IT Security and Compliance to align infrastructure and operational standards with business needs.
- Monitor delivery health quality and team performance improving workflows and tools where necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Computer Science or a related field (Masters Degree is preferred).
- 10 years of experience in software engineering with leadership of product engineering teams.
- Experience scaling engineering organizations or leading transformations in growth-stage companies.
- Background in SaaS analytics data platforms or complex client-facing systems.
- Strong technical expertise in software architecture cloud platforms and AI/ML integration.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels while fostering a pragmatic low-ego leadership style.
- Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments is a plus.
- Willing to work US business hours (graveyard shift).
