Job Summary
Position Overview
Ross Downing Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Mobile is seeking an Entry-Level Quick Lube Technician to join our service team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on vehicles and wants to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.
Many of our top technicians started in entry-level positions. If youre reliable motivated and eager to learn this is a great opportunity with room for growth.
What Youll Do
Perform multipoint vehicle inspections
Communicate additional service or repair needs to Service Advisors
Check and maintain fluid levels (oil transmission differential power steering etc.)
Change oil and replace oil and air filters
Check tire pressure and lubricate moving parts
Service grease fittings joints and steering components
Inspect vehicles for additional repair needs
Follow all dealership policies procedures and safety standards
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
What Were Looking For
Entry-level candidates welcome
Ability to read and follow written instructions
Basic familiarity with automotive maintenance or repair
Valid drivers license required
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
Prior experience as a technician helper or apprentice is a plus
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand walk bend and stoop for extended periods
Ability to lift 2050 pounds occasionally
Exposure to typical shop conditions including weather fumes and chemicals
Ability to work at a steady pace in a team-based environment
