This is a hands-on industrial product design role within a growing Product Design Innovation team based at a UK manufacturing headquarters.
You will be working inside R&D on real manufactured products used in demanding industrial environments. This is not consumer design and not purely conceptual work. Your designs will go through testing validation compliance and production.

What youll be doing

Supporting the design and development of new industrial products

Creating 3D CAD models assemblies and production-ready drawings

Using in-house 3D printing to prototype test and refine designs

Assisting with prototyping mechanical testing and design validation
-
Producing clear design documentation visuals and technical illustrations
-
Working closely with engineering compliance and manufacturing teams

Supporting product life cycle management activities
-
Following structured design review and release processes
-
Contributing ideas and problem-solving across live development projects
What youll need

Degree in Industrial Design or Product Design
-
Minimum 2 years industry experience
-
A portfolio showing ideas taken from sketch through to manufactured product
-
SolidWorks experience preferred
-
A working understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
-
Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
-
Good communication skills and confidence working in a team environment
-
Self-motivated adaptable and keen to learn
