Position: Project Leader
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Leader to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. The Project Leader will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire project lifecycle from conception to completion. This individual will work closely with our clients subcontractors and team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the project including planning scheduling budgeting and resource allocation
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and expectations and ensure that project goals are met
- Develop project plans and timelines and monitor progress to ensure that deadlines are met
- Identify potential risks and issues and implement proactive solutions to mitigate them
- Manage project budgets and ensure that projects are completed within budget
- Oversee subcontractors and suppliers ensuring that they meet project requirements and deadlines
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure that work is being completed according to specifications and quality standards
- Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders including clients team members and senior management
- Mentor and support team members providing guidance and feedback to ensure their professional development and project success
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management preferably in the construction industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of construction processes methods and materials
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
