These models are central to embedding data-driven insight into pricing and commercial decisions to support sustainable a Senior Analyst you will support the design development and maintenance of pricing and profitability models and performance tracking. You will play a key role in shaping next-generation cloud-based modelling capabilities enabling faster smarter and more flexible decision-making across the a Senior Analyst you will:Support the design development innovation and maintenance of profitability and pricing models and tracking pricing model capabilities through increased automation enhanced granularity and intuitive user interfaces on a next-generation cloud-based analytics business strategies and levers with data-driven customer performance to translate key drivers into financial outcomes such as RoTE and PBTPartner with teams across the business to support high-quality profitability and financial decision-making for customers and shareholdersImplement strong controls automation and governance to ensure models and tools are accurate robust and models remain fit for purpose through effective monitoring recalibration and redevelopmentIdentify and drive improvements in modelling approaches processes and tools through innovative and inquisitive analysisWhat Were Looking ForA continuous improvement mindset with the confidence to challenge existing approaches and evolve pricing models and tools within a modern cloud-based data-driven environmentExperience delivering accurate actionable forecasts and insights that enable senior leaders to make data-driven decisions optimising customer acquisition and profitabilityA collaborative analytics professional who shares knowledge and best practice contributing positively to the wider analytics communityProven experience in forecasting financial planning or analytics ideally within financial servicesStrong understanding of the key value drivers of lending products such as Credit Cards Loans or Vehicle FinanceProficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Python SQL Snowflake Power BI or SASStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders up to Executive levelOffers are subject to standard background checks (credit fraud and employment references).Who we areAt Vanquis our purpose is simple: to deliver caring banking that helps people make the most of lifes opportunities.
