Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Ashburn VA
Contract Duration: 21 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 07:30 AM 03:00 PM (7.5 hours/day)
Pay Range: $50 $57/hr Weekly: $1812.50 $2060

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist for a 21-week school-based contract in Ashburn VA. The successful candidate will join a dynamic educational team focused on helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve academic success.

This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a structured school environment and enjoys working with elementary-aged children across a variety of speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Intervention: Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to students with a range of communication disorders including articulation fluency voice and expressive/receptive language.
IEP Development: Draft review and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable goals tailored to each students unique needs.
Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and screenings to determine eligibility for services.
Collaboration: Work closely with classroom teachers special education staff and parents to integrate communication goals into daily academic life.
Compliance: Maintain accurate records of student progress attendance and service logs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Team Meetings: Participate in Eligibility IEP and 504 meetings as the communication expert.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
Licensure: Valid Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology license.
Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in a K-5 school setting preferred; familiarity with Virginia special education regulations and IEP software is a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
