Together We CAN! Hiring for Part Time (20 hours a week NIGHTS and WEEKENDS) The Life Enrichment Assistant provides service to the residents in the community that enable them to function at the highest possible level. This service includes: - Select plan coordinate all details of a holistic range of programs for senior adults including but not limited to the community outreach intellectual nutritional physical social spiritual special holidays evenings and external outings (including arranging transportation).
- Coordinating the needs of presenters performers and others regarding room set ups AV needs and overall program needs. This can sometimes include hosting and introducing.
- Work with Glenaire room booking systems and the Event & Catering Coordinator for any event needs.
- Collaborates on special projects such as staff appreciation and Glenaire Anniversaries.
- Assist with evening and weekend special events.
- Participates in several staff meetings.
Required: - Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn related booking software/programs
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience: - Bachelors degree preferred
- Valid Drivers License
