Job Summary

Gellert Global Group consists of many of the leading North American food importing companies (Atalanta Corporation Camerican International Finica Tipico Cheese Products) and has been importing food products for over 100 years. The combined revenues of GGG exceed $1.7 billion. GGG companies provide strength in sourcing insurance finance logistics food safety and information technology and supply the needs of retailers distributors food service chains hotels cruise lines and food manufacturers alike.

The intern program is a 10-week program. Interns are expected to work on-site M - Th 32 hours per week. Salary will be $20/hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reviewing and updating food labels to ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations
  • Support the team in verifying that all required nutritional information ingredients and allergens are correctly listed
  • Conduct research on current food labeling regulations and industry standards
  • Analyze label content to identify areas for improvement or potential compliance issues
  • Maintain accurate records of label revisions and regulatory approvals
  • Prepare reports and documentation as needed for internal reviews or regulatory submissions.
