About the Role

As Head of Operations you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational performance of Budbee in the Benelux. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will combine strategic oversight with active involvement in operational execution. You will lead develop and inspire teams across logistics terminals and last-mile delivery while continuously improving processes and performance.

You will play a critical role in both strategic planning and day-to-day operational decision-making ensuring high standards of delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all Benelux operations including terminals last-mile delivery and logistics teams.

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency scalability and cost-effectiveness.

• Monitor KPIs analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize operational performance.

• Collaborate with other European markets and share best practices.

• Collaborate with Product Teams at Instabee HQ to drive & implement innovations in the Benelux market

• Lead mentor and manage teams fostering a high-performance culture.

• Drive continuous improvement in processes systems and tools.

• Take ownership of operational challenges and ensure they are resolved efficiently.

• Support growth initiatives including scaling new terminals launching new routes and expanding service offerings.

About You

• At least 10 years of proven experience in e-commerce logistics and operations including terminal management coordination with logistics providers and technology-driven process optimization.

• Hands-on leader who actively engages with operations and teams to ensure delivery excellence.

• Strong people management skills able to motivate teams resolve conflicts and implement change effectively.

• Experience in Senior Management Teams with exposure to both strategic planning and operational execution.

• Proficient in analytics and data-driven decision making with the ability to interpret KPIs and drive operational improvements.

• Comfortable working in a fast-growing dynamic environment.

• Strong business acumen understands the broader business implications of operational decisions.

• Experience in the Dutch market is a strong plus; experience in other European markets is also valuable.

• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are highly appreciated and considered a strong bonus.

• Decisive straightforward and able to balance strategic leadership with operational oversight.
